Directions from London
M25 (Junction 12) M3 (Junction 8) A303 to within one mile of Bidwell Farm.
A303 (this is a scenic route passing Stonehenge and driving over Salisbury Plain) and eventually you will reach the Devon boundary sign at Marsh.
The road narrows as it passes into Devon and the Blackdown Hills Look for a petrol station on the left and the Route 303 restaurant.
After 1 mile – immediately after the A303 merges with the A30 – you will need to go to the centre of the road to turn right which will be signed Upottery. (See italics below).
Directions from M5 and A303/A30
If you are arriving on the M5, exit at Junction 25 Taunton. Follow signs towards Taunton town centre but look for a filter to the left at traffic lights signposted to Corfe. Follow signs to Corfe and Taunton Race Course. You will need to watch the signs closely as you pass through a large built up area and you will then reach a T-junction. Turn left, passing over the M5. Drive on this country lane for about seven miles until you reach a T-junction with the busy A303.
Turn right and, after about a mile, the A30 and A303 merge.
Immediately after the A303 merges with the A30, you will need to indicate right and take the next turning right. At the village war memorial, turn left, passing the Church and the Rectory and look for the first farm on your left after you leave the village. There is a large gallows sign at our entrance.
If you need to enter a road into a GPS, Crosslands Lane, Upottery leads to our farm entrance. Do be warned, however, that this is a single width bumpy and badly pot holed track – You can avoid this lane by following the italic directions above.
